Based on business need, selective users – as assigned and approved by each business owner – are granted remote access (vpn), provided the following:

  • User maintains company owned laptop.
    • Access rights are the same, as regular maintained access.
    • Access is only activated during declared BCP invocation duration, after which IT deactivate remote access.

Process for obtaining remote access:

  • The Business user should obtain senior level approval and submit to regional BCP Coordinator, detailing employee name, employee ID and required access.
    • Regional BCP Coordinator sends request to Information Security Department for approval, to be further submitted to IT Communication and Service Desk for implementation.
